Did you ever get my reply to your message?    I noticed at the time that about
five jobs including mine were hung up in sndmsg .

Sasseen and friends bowed to Loomba and are creating a computer
science department in the school of engineering.  The math department is being
invited to participate as members(as either part time or full time) but I
am passing.  The math department is being permitted to have an option
but of course the CS department will control the requirements of what-
ever we might come up with.    The math faculty is meeting tommorrow.  If it
goes thru I am uncertain about what to do.  But doing anything of a serious
nature at SJSU would be impossible under the structure being imposed.  I may leave quietly or I may leave very noisily.  I'm hoping the people in math
will be unanimous in rejecting any participation.  Then we can begin creating
the biggest stink that administration has seen in a long time. However, if
anyone cares to try to work for Loomba I won't make it any more difficult.

Let me know if any jobs crop up at Santa Clara.  I'm quite serious about that.
It won't be long before they take away the undergraduate offerings.
